The Start of My Journey

Like many men in their mid 20's or 30's, you stop playing competitive sport, settled down into a career and have to divide your spare time between your relationship and possibly children. Something always has to give, for me unfortunately it was my health.

My focus on my career was the main catalyst of my weight gain. Believing that material goods and more money would bring myself and my partner happiness. It did, but was always short lived.

After ballooning to 26 stone, having a major health scare which turned out to be depression. Then having the shock of this standing on the scales in front of my colleagues, I decided at that point, I need to change my lifestyle.
